Where is the Nasty Women Exhibition?

The Nasty Women Exhibition is at the Knockdown Center in Maspeth, Queens. Transportation info here. Google map directions here.

We’ll also be running a shuttle from 3pm onward on Thursday from the Jefferson L, outside of Cobra Club to get people to the space.

I submitted video work. Are there any specifications I need to make before sending it to the Knockdown Center?

Yes, if possible we request that you send your video as .MP4 with title cards at both the beginning and end of the video with Artist’s name and work title, 3 – 5 sec. in length. If you have not done so already please email the following information to [email protected]

I shipped my work. Will I be notified when it arrives?

No, we are unable to notify every artist about the delivery of their artwork to Knockdown Center. However, you can follow the tracking number with your shipping provider to confirm the delivery.

Will I be notified if my work sells?

We will do our best to notify every artist about the sale of their work. Thank you for your patience with our volunteer staff.

Will all proceeds go to Planned Parenthood?

Can I still submit work?

Submissions for NASTY WOMEN EXHIBITION at the Knockdown Center, NY are now CLOSED. However, there are several other venues with approximately 10 locations accepting work. Please visit https://nastywomenexhibition.org/other-nasty-venues/

 

The last day to submit was Monday, December 19th, 11:59PM  EST. We apologize for any inconvenience, and encourage you to look into the many other iterations of the exhibition being organized across the country and abroad if you were unable to meet the new deadline for the New York NASTY WOMEN exhibition.
